Who actually owns everything when we part ways?

Accepted Answer

You do, and you did the whole time. The domain is registered in your name, the code lives in your GitHub organization, and the cloud, Stripe, Google or Microsoft accounts are yours with us added as an administrator. If you leave, we remove ourselves and you keep working. No export fee, no platform you get stuck on.

What is the difference between a plan and a project?

A project is a thing we build: a website from $3,400, a workflow from $2,400, a cloud migration from $3,500. You pay for it once. A plan is what keeps it alive afterwards — hosting, patching, monitoring, changes, and someone who answers when it breaks. Keeper is $299 a month, Operator is $749, Full Desk is $1,500. You can buy a project without a plan; we will just say out loud that nobody is looking after it.

Is the 24/7 desk really 24/7, or is it a voicemail robot?

A person picks up. Nights, weekends, holidays. They answer as your business, using your script, your hours and your pricing floor — and they can book straight into your calendar. Median pickup is around 18 seconds. It is $490 a month with 150 calls included and $2.40 a call after that, or it comes with Full Desk. If we ever cannot cover a window, we tell you before it happens rather than after.

You sell phone answering but have no phone number. What gives?

Reasonable thing to notice. We are small and we cap intake at four new clients a month, so enquiries come through email and the form — nothing gets lost and everything gets an answer inside a business day. Clients get a direct line on day one, and their customers get a desk that picks up at 2am. The 24/7 coverage is the product we run for you, not a switchboard for cold calls.

We already have a website and a stack of tools. Do we have to throw it away?

Usually not. About half the sites and systems we inherit are structurally fine and need speed, intake and integration work rather than a rebuild. We will tell you honestly which half yours is in — including when the answer is "keep it, and spend the money on the process behind it instead".

Can you work with the software we already pay for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we prefer to. QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jobber, ServiceTitan, whatever your industry runs on — we integrate rather than replace. A single two-way connector starts at $900. Ripping out a tool your team already knows is expensive in a way that never shows up on an invoice.

How fast until we see something?

Something is live inside 30 days. Not the whole system — the single piece with the fastest payback, usually the intake flow, the automation that is costing you evenings, or the desk. Full builds run 6–10 weeks depending on how much custom software is in them.

What does the per-user help desk actually cover?

Accepted Answer

Devices, accounts and the people using them: setup for a new hire, offboarding on their last day, MFA and access, password and mailbox problems, the printer, the laptop that will not join the VPN. It is $49 per user a month with a five-user minimum, so $245 a month is the smallest it comes. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 licenses stay at cost in your own tenant, with $6 per user for us to administer them.

What if we want to stop?

30 days notice, by text if you like. No cancellation fee, no exit interview, no annual lock-in. The project fee covered the project and it is already yours. We would rather you leave clean and refer us than stay resentful.

Do you work with our competitor down the road?

Accepted Answer

No. One client per industry per service area across Central Texas. If we are already working with a plumber in Round Rock or a dental practice in Georgetown, we tell you on the first reply instead of taking the money.

Is SEO even worth paying for anymore?

Accepted Answer

Honestly: content-mill SEO is dead and we will not sell it. What still works for a local business is the map pack, review velocity and real service pages — plus a newer thing, making sure AI assistants have the structured facts they need to name you. That is what the search work in a plan actually buys.

Do you handle our taxes?

Accepted Answer

No — we are not CPAs, and we do not file returns or give tax advice. What we do is the document side: collecting W-9s before the first check, tracking who crossed $600 for 1099-NEC, splitting sales tax by jurisdiction, and handing your accountant a packet they can work from without emailing you twice.

What does a realistic first year cost?

Most businesses land on a $3,400 website plus the $749 Operator plan — about $12,400 in year one. A business that moves everything to us, takes Full Desk at $1,500 and has us build the full lead-to-review chain at $7,500, is closer to $25,500. If what you get back is bigger than that, it works. If it is not, we will say so before you sign anything.

Is there a cheaper way in than a monthly plan?

Yes. Buy one project and nothing else — a landing page from $1,200, a single workflow from $2,400, a security assessment at $1,500 flat — and see whether we are any good. Plenty of clients start with one thing that annoys them and add a plan later, and email on your own domain is a line item you can take on its own too.
